The Dockbot Contributors' Bonus Program

This program is meant to reward the contributing lower-ranked teams that do not encounter a lot of pre-existing Live intel over the duration of the event and end up having to scout more than our higher-ranked clients do. If your intel availability is unusually low while you keep contributing missing intel to the shared OpenIntel database, your next war might be half price or free!

How it works: at the end of the event, we will calculate your Hit Rate on the pre-existing intel. If it is low, you will be refunded for the event, as follows:

3-day events:
Hit rate < 80% : 10 credits
Hit rate < 55% : 20 credits

1-day events:
Hit rate < 55% : 10 credits

The Hit Rate percentage is calculated as follows:
HR = (AW - IM)/AW * 100

AW: All your valid War sessions of normal duration over the course of the event
IM: Intel Misses: valid war sessions where there are no (or very few) intel records previously exists AND your team contributes at least 8 new records.

The Fine Print:

• Your bot must be set up for OPEN intel database. Teams participating in private intel communities do not qualify for the program.
• Your team must participate in at least 20 wars over the course of a 3-day event, 15 wars for 2 and 2 1/2-day events, or 10 wars for 1-day events
• You must start a war session in the bot shortly after a war starts in the game and keep it active for the duration of the war
• Your team must contribute at least 8 new valid records in each session where there is fewer than 8 preexisting records available in order for the war to be counted as "Intel Miss". If you fail to contribute new data, it is assumed that there are good targets on the list and no additional scouting is required, so the session is counted as a "Hit".
• Only the war sessions started using "at war with ..." command are counted. Quick intel lookups using "intel ..." commands are not counted.
• Unusually short war sessions are considered lookups, and are also ignored by the formula.
• The practice of starting bogus war sessions or entering bogus intel specifically to affect the Hit Rate will result in a disqualification from the program or a ban!
• Bonus credits are posted to your Dockbot account for use in future events. No cash refund will be given.
